A little Vadagam goes a long way and ours is as authentic as it gets. At DNachiys Foods, we follow time-honored methods to craft this sun-dried seasoning blend, hand-rolled from finely chopped onions, garlic, mustard, cumin, and fenugreek.

Used as a base tempering for curries, sambars, and kuzhambu, Vadagam is the South Indian kitchen’s secret weapon for deep, rich flavor. Naturally preserved using sun-drying, it contains:

Ingredients: Onion, Mustard seeds, Black pepper, Cumin, Fenugreek seeds, Gram dal, Orid dal, Toor dal, Compounded asafoetida, Crystal salt, Turmeric powder, Curry leaves, Garlic & Cold-pressed Castor oil.

Directions for use: Temper/Thalippu 0.5 tsp of DNachiys Onion Vadagam in Cooking oil while preparing South Indian dishes like Kootu, Poriyal, Sambar, Rasam, Meen kuzhambu, Kara kuzhambu, etc.

Storage: Once opened, store in an airtight container. Store in a cool, dry and hygienic place.
